Professor Hanna Pickard

I’m Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University, cross-appointed to the William H. Miller III Department of Philosophy and the Berman Institute of Bioethics, and with a secondary appointment in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.

In addition to my academic work, I also worked from 2007-17 at the Oxford Health Complex Needs Service, in a therapeutic community for people with personality disorder and complex needs.
